Jodi Leigh Gold is a California-licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT #152438) with advanced clinical expertise and training in Clinical Psychology, as well as extensive experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges.

“My work is grounded in modern psychodynamic therapy with a focus on relationships, emotions, and the patterns that shape a person’s life. I weave in evidence-based tools from CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to offer structure and practical support. The result is an approach that’s thoughtful, grounded, and tailored to each individual.”

I began my career in the Arts after completing my undergraduate studies at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where I developed a deep understanding of storytelling, human expression, and the emotional layers that shape people’s lives. That foundation naturally evolved into my work in Mental Health, leading me to earn my graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology.

Today, I draw on both worlds—creative insight and clinical expertise—to thoughtfully and informatively support individuals, remaining attuned to the complexity of their experiences. My background enables me to work with clients through a unique blend of intuition, psychological depth, and evidence-based clinical training.

“Every chapter of my life has brought me to this moment. When we honor where we’ve been, we become more present, more open, and more able to help others. My lived experience is not separate from my work—it informs it.” - Jodi Leigh Gold
